I was born and raised in the Skagit Valley on the Johnson Brothers Tree Farm, on District Line Road in Burlington. Attending Burlington-Edison High School, graduating in 1993. I then attended Wenatchee Valley CC and Skagit Valley CC earning my AA in 1995. Fortunately, Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado offered me a full basketball scholarship that spring. I studied Corporate Fitness during my 2 1/2 years in Grand Junction.
During my time at Skagit Valley CC, I was honored to meet Pauline Martin who became my wife in 1999. I moved back to marry Pauline and went to work for Verizon Wireless where I became a regional manager in 2001. Looking to take the next step in my career, I have been at Windermere Real Estate for the last 3 years.
